215 lakh crore loss due to climate change: UN report

CALIFORNIA: The United Nations has reported that global economies have been wasted by millions of rupees due to climate change. The Natural Disaster Surveillance Agency (UNHRC) said the loss of around Rs 215 lakh crore has been reported by natural calamities around the world from 1998 to 2017.

77 per cent of the money is worrying because of the bad weather and the seasonal change. The global economy of the country has been severely affected by such climate change. The UN has reported that the study was conducted into account of damage to natural disaster, including commercial impacts
