How to Secure Facebook Account with Two-Factor Authentication

Around five crore accounts were recently hacked by Facebook users. This is necessary to protect their Facebook account.



Enabling the To-Factor Authentication feature is enough to protect Facebook account. Since the Do-Factor Authentication adds more protection to your account, the chance of hacking will be reduced.

1. You need to log in to your Facebook account

2. Click on the option in the inverted traying on the right of Facebook and select the settings option

3. Go to Security and Lock-in Option

4. Both options are optional and lock-in with profile profile to change password under security and lock-in options. There will be a double-factor authentication option

5. Click on Use-to-Factor Authentication Options

You can now double-factor authentication in two ways. That way, you can use services such as Text Message and Google Authenticator or Duo Mobile.




Use the text messaging app

1. After selecting the text message option, the six-digit code will be sent to your mobile number, then you need to confirm with this code

2. Need to register the code that came with you on the mobile

3. You will now receive a short message confirming on-to-factor authentication



Use Authentication App
1. If you do not register a mobile number, you can use the second algorithm. First you have to install one of the processes mentioned above.

2. No more QR. Summer scan and record the code in the Authentication process.

3. A code for your process will come. You need to register when asked. Your account will now have a double-factor authentication activator
