Protecting the forest to set up coal mine in Germany: More than 150 people arrested

Berlin: The protest to destroy the forest to build a coal mine in the Hamburg Forest in Germany has strengthened. As part of it, hundreds of environmental activists were involved in the rally pickets. About 40 people from another group occupied the Hamburg mine near Cologne, with eight of them staring at the machine there. The police warned them to leave.

The police tried to evacuate the protestors and beat water to disperse the demonstrators. Subsequently, more than 150 people involved in the fight were arrested. It is noteworthy that the German government decided to dig a mine in the ancient forest of Hamburger Frost and find out the existence of brown coal
