The storm that struck Italy - the Venetian city floats on the flood

A severe storm struck yesterday in Italy, the European country. This resulted in heavy winds. Heavy rain.


There were numerous trees and wires in the air. In Rome, the trees fell on the car and two of them died.

An elderly woman died when she hit a tree in Savono. Two more people died. Five people have been killed so far.

Heavy rain in Venice caused a storm. This flooded the streets. The rainfall is flooded to 156 cm (61 inches) in St. Marks Square.
