Severe fighting in Hunta port: 61 dead

Hududa: 61 people, including insurgents and civilians, have been killed in the fighting in the Yemeni Hutada port. The war has intensified between the Hoodi rebels in Hamadah, the main port city of Yemen, and the Saudi government-led government forces. In the last 24 hours, the Hoodi rebels killed 43 people and 9 civilians killed in the fighting in the harbor here. In addition, nine of the injured government soldiers died in hospital treatment.

More than 400 people have died in the fighting in the last 10 days. In 2014, when the Huti rebels captured the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, they also took control of Huata City. This is the most important port on the Yemeni coastline. The Iran-led Hoodi rebels are reportedly carrying out weapons through this port. So, the Saudi-led government force has intensified the war to rescue this port. Last Saturday, the government had taken over a major hospital.

The World Health Organization is worried that 10,000 people have been killed since the Yemeni civil war last year. About 1 crore people are suffering from starvation and malnutrition
