The number of people injured in the earthquake in Iran has risen to 716

Tehran: The death toll in Iran has risen to 716. A 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit Iran and Iraq today. This earthquake was felt in the capital of Baghdad and several states of Iraq. The earthquake struck at about 8 pm local time yesterday near the Surfol e Zahaf, in the western part of Iran, in the Kermanunza province, which borders Iraq. The buildings were damaged due to the earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale. The electric poles fell down.

Homes in most of the villages of Sarfoll e Jahab in Iran were particularly damaged. The first news reported that 716 people were injured in the accident. Hospital sources said 716 people who came to the hospital with mild injuries had returned to their home and had no serious injuries.

Following the earthquake, the Disaster Rescue Squadron, the Army, the Police and the Reconnaissance forces have been rushed to the affected areas and have been rescued. Officials have reported that the earthquake has been severely damaged by the Iran-Iraq border crossing roads and towns, villages and homes
