Trump management rejecting Diwali celebration at White House

In 2003, the then President George Bush introduced the celebration to celebrate Deepavali at the White House. President Obama then followed the practice.


Diwali celebrations in the White House have not taken place this year for the last 15 years. President Drupp took part in the celebration of Deepavali during the White House last year.
