Yemen has killed about 85,000 children over the past three years due to malnutrition in the country

CHENNAI: A total of 85,000 children have died since April 2015 between October 2015 and 2018 due to malnutrition in Yemen. The study found that about 85,000 children under the age of five may have died due to the war in Yemen over the past three years and due to severe nutrition deficiency.

According to Save the Children, the number of children killed in Yemen is equal to the number of children under 5 in Britain's second largest town in Birmingham. It has also provided food for 1,40,000 children so far and 78,000 children have been treated for nutritional defects since the beginning of the crisis.

Save The Children's Organization has also urged the World Bank to help children in Yemen. Last month, the United Nations reported that more than 14 million people have been caught in famine in Yemen. It is also noteworthy that the United Nations is conducting various efforts to end the civil war in Yemen over the past three years
