New History in Ireland passed the Abortion Approval Bill: Changed by Indian Doctor's Death

London: Ireland's historic bill to legalize abortion has been fulfilled. This change comes from the death of Indian dentist Dr. Savita Hollapana. It is illegal to abortion in Ireland, a country where Catholic Christians live. There are strict legal and proposals against abortion. Due to this, the Sri Lankan dentist Dr Savita Hollapanavar died in a poor condition in 2012 due to lack of access to a life-threatening condition. This has led to greater awareness in Ireland.

Many women called for legalization of abortion. This resulted in a referendum held last May to find people's opinion on the implementation of the Eighth Amendment to grant abortion. 66.4 per cent voted in favor of it. The bill was passed in parliament last October. Having made some changes in this, the historic bill was passed yesterday. This is the first time in Ireland that the abortion is legalized.

It has been sent for approval by President Michael D. Higgins. The law will come into effect when he has signed. Prime Minister Leo Wadakar of Indian descent said, "It's a historic moment for Irish women." According to this amendment, 12 weeks pregnancy may be dissolved with permission
