Pager service ends next September: Japan announcement

TOKYO: The Tokyo Telecom has announced that the Pager service, which was introduced in Japan nearly 50 years ago, will be halted next September. At present, about 1500 people are service customers. Pager produced in 1950-60 periods was the most popular of the 1980s. In 1996, there were about 12 lakh subscribers of Tokyo Tele Message. But time and technology have changed many facilities to switch to the switch. The world, now occupied by the basic mobile phones, is currently in the smart phones.

In this situation, the pager has not been lost in time. However, in Japan only a few thousand people continued to use it. This number has now become 1,500. Tokyo Tele Messaging Company has stopped pager production for the past 20 years. The Times of Japan reported in the Times of Canada that even now hospital workers are using the pager. Tokyo Telecomsage has announced that it will have a Pazer service in September next year
