TOKYO: The Tokyo Telecom has announced that the Pager service, which was introduced in Japan nearly 50 years ago, will be halted next September. At present, about 1500 people are service customers. Pager produced in 1950-60 periods was the most popular of the 1980s. In 1996, there were about 12 lakh subscribers of Tokyo Tele Message.
