Riongia in Myanmar: Ethnic slaughter: US MPs resolution

Washington: The American MPs have passed a resolution saying "genocide against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar". The clash occurred in October 2016 between Rohingya Muslims and Buddhists in Myanmar's North Rakhine Province. Later, it became the conflict between the Rohingya Muslims - the security forces. The people of Rohingya were beaten up. More than 200 people were killed. Since they were immigrants from Bangladesh, they returned to Bangladesh as refugees. The number of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh has now risen to over 10 lakh. These people are also refugees in India. The US government recently issued a statement on the attack on them. In that, it was reported that the Myanmar government had failed to describe the violence as genocide.

In the United States, a decision was taken to push the United States government into Myanmar and pressurize the anti-Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. One voted against 394 in favor of the resolution. Thus, this resolution was fulfilled. The US State Department's Foreign Relations Committee chairman Ed Royce said: "The United States has a moral obligation to call a genocide against the Rohingya Muslims. If you fail to do this, those involved in the offense will escape without justice. Myanmar is not only an economic barrier but the US government must give more pressure
