What causes kidney cancer in children?
It’s unclear what exactly causes kidney cancer in children, although doctors believe that heredity may play a role in the development of Wilms’ tumour. According to Urology Care Foundation, some specific changes in chromosomes have been linked to a greater risk for Wilms’ tumour and tumour growth, which experts hope might shed some light on how to treat the condition.
Meanwhile, Emraan had also co-written a book titled ‘The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer’ along with Bilal Siddiqi on Ayaan's battle with cancer.
