all you need to know doga, now do yoga with dog

Doga is an emerging trend that helps an individual strike a balance between their relationship with their dog, and their workout. Doga refers to practising yoga with your dog. It is a yoga practice designed to be done with your pet dog – by either using them as a prop or as a partner. While dogs may not be able to perform the traditional yoga poses, there are still some that they can do, and will definitely enjoy.

However, an individual should be careful about how much their dog is actually comfortable with since they can't tell you when they have had enough. Doga should not be forced upon the dogs and utmost care should be taken so they do not injure themselves, and do not feel uncomfortable.

The benefits of Doga are immense. While it helps you be healthy because it gives you the motivation to work out, it also improves your relationship with your dog better. The bond between your dog and you strengthens as you get to do a fun activity together. It also makes you happier and keeps diseases away. Doga also has benefits for your dog. It can help dogs with injuries, or obese or older dogs. It can help them be healthier and live longer.

Some sections and people around the world do look down upon doga, though. They are of the view that it messes the ideas of traditional yoga – where the presence of the dog can cause distractions and not allow an individual to focus and meditate as it is required by Yoga

Some people also feel that it can affect dogs adversely. They may be unable to tell if they are uncomfortable with the exercise, or when they have had too much of it and do not want to continue. Forceful practice can affect them emotionally and physically and therefore some people feel that the practice of Doga should be avoided
