Washington: The bill to ease the green card control to provide permanent stay in the US has been filed. Overseas workers in the United States are temporarily staying at H-1B or El Visa. They need to get a green card to work permanently in the United States. The United States provides only 1 million 40 thousand green cards per year (Permanent Resident Identity Card). Only 7 percent of every country applying to the Green Card can receive each year. People like India and China, which have a large population of this size, have to wait a long time to get a green card.
Applicants from less populated countries will soon receive a green card. The leading companies such as Google requested to loosen the limits set for each country in the green card issuance. The Bill to ease the Green Card Control Bill (Hr 1044) was filed yesterday in the two Houses of the American Parliament. 112 MPs have supported this. If the bill is passed in the US Parliament, thousands of Indians working in the US on H-1B visa will soon receive a green card for citizenship
