here ,how do you help a loved one cope with mental health issues

Cardi B, the entertainer, singer, rapper, and an absolute candid personality recently took to Twitter to talk about her anxiety and how it was difficult to deal with it. Contrary to how Twitter mostly reacts to things – turning it into memes or jokes, people on Twitter were quite supportive of the singer and even came out with advice, coping mechanisms, and support.
Many celebrities like Missy Elliott and comedian Sarah Silverman said how they could relate and empathized with Cardi. This event makes us realise how people around you can also have mental health issues and how you can help them cope with such problems
Avoid the tough-love
Though very effective in parenting, or for people who are not as vulnerable as someone with a mental illness, tough love may not be the best approach for someone who is battling a mental health disorder like anxiety or depression. Tough love can be viewed as indifference towards them by people who are facing such issues.
Do not judge
Anxiety is difficult to deal with, and when you are in close contact with someone who has it, it is important to not judge them. They are already dealing with a lot and are judging themselves the most at the moment. Your judgment can make it worse for them.
Avoid certain phrases
“You are just overthinking.” and “Snap out of it” are the most common things people hear when they have anxiety or any other mental illness. People with anxiety tend to overthink – it is one of the markers of the condition itself and they really cannot control it, as much as they try. Using such phrases can make them feel that they are wrong and make it very difficult for them to deal with  it
Encourage for professional help
It is very important to seek professional medical help if things seem to be getting out of hand. However, people with anxiety and depression are very reluctant to the thought because of the stigma attached to such problems. You must try to encourage them to seek professional help and make them understand that they are okay, and their problem has a solution.
Be there
One of the most important things you have to do for people with a mental illness is to be there for them. Loneliness can make their condition worse. Accompany them to appointments, take care of them and give them the assurance that they are going to be okay
