WhatsApp gets new download single sticker feature

WhatsApp recently rolled out a new update via their Google Play Beta Program. The latest update is 2.19.33 and brings in a new feature via the release. According to WABetaInfo, the latest WhatsApp for Android beta now brings the ability to download a single sticker from a pack. Earlier, WhatsApp users were forced to download the entire sticker pack to just use a single sticker from the pack. There was no method to download one specific sticker and leave out the rest. The latest beta update has brought in the download single sticker and will be released in the stable update as well.

In order to use this update, users will have to update their WhatsApp beta version to 2.19.33. After downloading the update, users can open the in-app WhatsApp Stickers Store and long press on the Sticker of their choice. Before downloading, WhatsApp will ask if the Sticker has to be saved as a favourite, then show download size of the single sticker, and then provides a download option at the bottom for saving the sticker in the app.

The new feature is for users who would like to have only relevant stickers showing up with no extra clutter. Also, this move means internet data is saved as one does not download the entire pack to use one sticker. WABetaInfo also states that the final build will be released in the stable update with build number 2.19.33+.

Additionally, in a tweet, WABetaInfo has stated, "WhatsApp beta for iOS 2.19.20.20: the shortcut to forward media messages is back in countries where it wasn't previously available
