how to identify and change problemed Windows drivers

Driver is the software that communicates with the hardware and operating system of computers.

Most problems with computers can be verified by fixing drivers. This may be due to the first game crash being inaccessible to the printer.

 drivers:

There are separate drivers for video card, audio, motherboard and various other features. Updating drivers to keep the system running is not enough. However, the system will run smoothly only if drivers are updated at regular intervals.

Checking drivers:

Your  may not know which drivers are installed and which versions are installed. These details are provided by Windows XP. Command Prompt can be used on most Windows 8 operating systems. You need to click the Windows Key and X button to run the command prompt. Now type 'driverquery' and click on the enter button. The drivers will no longer be listed on the system.

You can also type driverquery> driver.txt for details. The date included is not the date the driver was updated, it is the date the driver was released.

This means that if the date is a few years ahead, the driver is not updated. This feature does not work for Windows 10 platform. You can find out the version number, manufacturer, installation date and various details on a single site.

Updating drivers directly from Microsoft:

You can update your drivers with Windows Update. This requires Windows Key and I to click. When this is done, the settings will open, then click on the Windows Update and Check for Updates option in the Update and Security option. Disable Automatic Updates if you wish.

Updating Drivers With Device Manager:

Click on Windows Key and X to run Device Manager. Now you can choose Device Manager to learn about System Equipment, Disk Drives, Display Adapters, Processors and more. Double click on it and see the details. Now click on the Update Driver option and search for updated drivers. Alternatively you need to click on Browse My Computer for Driver Software option.

Updating drivers:

You can update drivers directly from the manufacturer. This is done using the driverquery command. You need to go to the manufacturer's website and click on the drivers section. Companies like AMD and NVIDIA can scan systems and search for drivers and update them automatically.
