In Indonesia, 1000 people may fear that they may be buried alive

Last week's earthquake and tsunami occurred in Balu city on the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Balu City was severely affected. Houses and buildings collapsed and became ground.


The Indonesian government officially announced 1,571 victims. 1000 people were missing.

There have been reports that more than 1000 people have been missing since the rescue operation has taken place. During the tsunami it is feared that they may be buried in the soil.

In the tsunami attack, the city is in ruins. Most of the areas have been destroyed. Most of the roads have been hit in the tsunami. Indonesian Vice President Jusuppalla said that it could take up to 6 months a year to rectify the city. He urged the public to cooperate with the government's action. #Indonesiaearthquake
