Many individuals, particularly young people, engage in unsafe sexual behaviours, putting themselves at an increased risk of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Also known as sexually transmitted infections (STIs), an STD can affect both men and women and is passed from one person to another during intimate sexual intercourse.
However, using a good condom can help protect against both unplanned pregnancy and STDs such as chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, Mycoplasma genitalium, HIV or hepatitis B, etc. But keep in mind that condoms don’t provide 100 per cent protection against STDs or pregnancy even when used correctly. This can happen because they can break or do not cover the entire genital skin area.
Unprotected intercourse - having vaginal sex without using a male or female condom
Unprotected mouth-to-genital contact
Having multiple sex partners
Starting sexual activity at a young age before being mature enough to know what makes a healthy sex
Withdrawing the penis before ejaculation instead of using condoms
Re-using a condom or using a condom that is past its use-by date
Incorrect condom use
Exchanging bodily fluids - such as menstrual blood, semen or vaginal fluids inside another person’s body
Having unprotected anal sex or a partner who does
Having sex with a partner who injects or has ever injected drugs
Some factors that can increase the risk of unsafe sex include - being drunk or pressured to have sex, using recreational drugs, a lack of knowledge of STDs and their symptoms as well as transmissions, not seeking medical help or having access to treatment, etc.
Learning about the risks associated with various sexual activities and adopting safer sex practices can help you lead a healthier life while also preventing STDs.

ReplyDeleteInstead of getting a loan, I got my already programmed blank ATM card to withdraw a maximum of $5,000 daily for 30 days. I am so happy about this because i got mine last week and I have used it to get $50,000. Mr Mike is giving out the card just to help the poor and needy though it is illegal but it is something nice and he is not like other people pretending to have the blank ATM cards. And no one gets caught when using the card. get yours from him i fully recommend him. Just send him an email on (blankatm002@gmail.com )
