Indonesia did not return to normal after 8 days after the tsunami hit

The number of casualties and deaths caused by the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia has crossed 500,000.

Last week's 7.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in Indonesia. Subsequently the tsunami hit. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NADA), a total of 571 people have been recovered from the building collapses.

It is feared that the number of casualties will increase, as it is predicted that more than 1,000 people may be trapped in the rubble.
