Military law that was practiced in Ukraine ended: Presidential Petition

Kiev: The president of the country has announced that the military law, which has been in force for the past one month in Ukraine, has reacted to Russia's threat. There is a tense situation between the two countries since Russia joined Russia in 2014 in the Crimea region of Ukraine. Russia and Ukraine used the Kirst Strait as the only route to the Sea of Azov. In this case, Russia took three naval vessels in Ukraine last month in the Kerch Strait near Crimea. The Russian military claimed that the action was taken by illegally entering their territory.

In order to ensure the security of the country, it was decided to implement the military legislation that would provide full powers to the military in a certain area of the Russian border. The bill was passed by Parliament on 28th of this month and the law was introduced. It was announced that the law would be in force for a further period of one month. President Petro Poroshenko has announced that the military law in force in the country's border regions has come to an end since the law was in force for the past one month. Speaking at the National Security and Military Council meeting, he said the decision came from examining all aspects of the country's security situation
