Samsung looks to be all set to launch its latest range of S-series range of flagships. The S-series consists of the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, and the Galaxy S10+. The last few days have been quite a bomber for the Samsung Galaxy S10 range of smartphones. A few days back there was a massive leak wherein a spec sheet which detailed a lot of technical features of the smartphone was leaked. The spec sheet was received by GSMArena detailed out the specs of the Galaxy S10, S10e, and the S10+. The leaked details fall perfectly in line with the specs we already know. In the latest leak which took place a day back, the Samsung flagship lineup nomenclature was confirmed. So we know the specs, the names have been confirmed, so the only thing remaining right now is the price of the Galaxy S10 range of smartphones.
A Samsung French website confirmed after the microsite for the Galaxy S10 range went live on it. The Galaxy S range is now officially called - Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, and the Galaxy S10+. Of course, we already knew the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+. The real question was what Samsung was planning to name the affordable variant of the Galaxy S10. There were numerous reports stating that the version will be called the S10 Lite. Numerous leaks and rumours later, it is now confirmed that the model will be called the Galaxy S10e. The Galaxy S10 will not get a curved display like the S10 and the S10+. It will also get a single selfie camera and a dual-camera setup at the rear. The Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ are slated to get dual-selfie cams on the front inside the display, and a triple lens setup at the rear.
There have been rumours that Samsung could be bringing a full specced out version of the Galaxy S10+ with 5G connectivity, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage but we think Samsung could decide not bringing a 5G version at all in the market right now. This is considering that Samsung is lining the ballistic Galaxy Note 10 launch for later this year. The last year Galaxy Note 9 garnered a massive amount of praise, so we expect Samsung to go all guns blazing with the Galaxy Note 10.
The Galaxy S10 has been tipped to get a 10-megapixel dual shooter lens on the front with f/1.9 aperture value which can shoot 4K videos. The front dual-lens shooter is also slated to get dual-pixel AF with possible Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), which has not yet been confirmed by Samsung. Because the front shooter has 4K shooting feature, it may also get Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) on the rear-triple shooter mounted alongside OIS.
In the spec sheet leaked a few days back, it was stated that the Galaxy S10+ will be arriving with a 6.3-inch Super-AMOLED which has a resolution of 3040 x 1440 pixels. The Galaxy S10, S10e, and the S10+ will open for pre-order starting from February 21, 2019, at 12.30 AM IST. However, the "Notify Me" option has already gone live on Flipkart has already put out the S10 banner.
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ has been tipped to be priced at around Rs. 1,23,000. The affordable Galaxy S10e could be priced starting at Rs. 60,000. The Galaxy S10 could be launched at a starting price of Rs. 75,000. The Galaxy S10 range of smartphones will start shipping to customers by the first week of March or the end of February 2019.
