Struggle for fuel price hikes in France: Over 1,700 arrests across the country

Paris: In the yellow jacket protest against France's fuel price hike, 90,000 security personnel have been deployed in the streets for security. In Paris, only about 8,000 officers and 12 anti-aliens have been parked. There is continuing struggle there. Up to now 1,700 people have been arrested. In the conflict, 179 people were injured.

In France recently the tax on diesel was raised. On the last one day, hundreds of thousands of people in the city, including Paris, were dressed in a yellow jacket. Vehicles were burned in many places. The French government announced that the fuel price hike would be temporarily suspended.

However, the yellow-colored strikers announced that there would be a bigger scramble in cities including Paris to demand more concessions. The police threw tear gas and beat water to prevent the fight. The protesters stormed the police at the time. This led to a serious conflict between the two sides. It is noteworthy that France's Home Minister said that the situation in the city of Paris has come under control.
