Portsmouth: A 30-year church in Portsmouth, Virginia, in the US, has been announced to be a Hindu temple. According to the information, the church is to be converted into the Swami Narayan temple and the statues will be completed after the entire church is converted into a temple.

Swamyarayan Kadi Sansthan from Ahmedabad Mani Nagar also said that in the United States only five churches have been converted to Swami Narayan Temple and now it is 6th in the world and this is the 9th Swami Narayan temple in the world.

It is noteworthy that in the US, Virginia, Louisiana, Louisville, Pennsylvania, Los Angeles and Ohio have been converted into temples. Similarly, a church in London and a church in Manchester was converted into a temple, said Bhagavat Priyadhar Swamy of the Sansthan Spiritual Organization.

Bhagwat Priyadhar Swamy said that the church in Virginia is already a place of worship and does not need to make a lot of changes. Some 10,000 people from the Swami Narayan Temple temple said that about 10,000 people live here. It also said that the church was constructed in 5 acres of 18,000 square feet.
